Khanh Vo's photography laces a contemporary sensiblity with an unironic evocation of pre- and early modern memes and concerns. In February 2011 at 1215 Projects, Khanh's first exhibition, "Utah," explores four national parks. Each work in the exhibit unsparingly examines--almost dissects, in a near excess of realism--the natural beauty of the landscapes. Khanh lives and works in Los Angeles.
